Darwin Returns!

beagle

Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library will once again offer monthly reading sessions for children with Darwin, a beagle who loves both kids and books and loves to be read to. The next opportunity will be on October 16 at 3:00 pm. Come and share your favorite stories with this mild-mannered, certified beagle.  Sometimes children lack confidence in reading aloud to groups. Certified Therapy dogs like Darwin provide encouragement by patiently listening to these young readers as they practice reading a story aloud. Children of all ages are welcome.  There is no charge for this program although pre-registration is recommended.  For details and registration please call Ms Terri or Ms Denise at 967-2778 or by signing up in the Children’s Room upstairs at Graves.  Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library is located at 18 Maine St., Kennebunkport.
