The Breakwater Inn and Spa has offered us a weekend get-away to use as we wish. We have combined this $300.00 weekend package with a set of our recently published history books: Kennebunkport : the Evolution of an American Town  (2 volume set and gift box worth $75.00); a gift certificate to Mornings in Paris worth $25.00; a gift certificate to Downeast Wine Imports worth $50.00; and a gift certificate to Village Salon and Day Spa worth $50.00.  The drawing will be held on December 13th at 2:00 p.m. after the performance of the Kennebunkport Bell Ringers here at the Library.

If you (or anyone you know) would like to help support the library, take a chance on a weekend get-away at a beautiful hotel, restaurant and spa on Ocean Avenue, we would be happy to sell you a ticket. $10 per chance; $25 for three chances to win this total package worth $500.00. The Library is located at 18 Maine Street in Kennebunkport. For more information please call 967-2778.

The Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library is funded primarily by you our friends and patrons.  40 percent of our annual  budget comes from the Town of Kennebunkport.  Fundraisers like this one, an annual appeal, ongoing book sale at the Perkins House and on Amazon.com, and our store items help us serve the needs of people in Kennebunkport, Kennebunk, Arundel, Cape Porpoise, Lyman, Alfred, Biddeford, Saco, Wells, Ogunquit, and many other towns in the general area.

Many thanks for your support (always!) and best wishes for a peaceful, healthy, holiday season.
